“What’s happening?”
Their human appearance was disappearing slowly. Tensions between humans and non-humans exploded at that point.
A heterogeneous group of young adults is willing to help.
The princess, leader of their people, believes she knows how to solve this problem. Maintaining her appearance was exhausting her.
“We are able to go there!”
They have the same problem as the others but it is less visible.
“Do as you wish. I will try to calm everyone down until your return.”
They are five, soon joined by the younger sister of the princess. Their group is made of a man-bird, a woman-cat, a human and a couple of men-plants. The sister of the princess is indigenous. If they all chose to appear as humans a long time ago, the magic perturbations make some ears, tails and leaves appear. The indigenous people are the most touched: their skins turn to pink, their necks swell like those of frogs – except that they have three folds – and their bodies lose its firmness.
Their objective is simple: get to a faraway city to ask the guidance of a sage.
Its realization won’t be as easy.
