31-05-13 - Shade of a Church

His family is dead. His perfect world just disappeared under his eyes. Now, they are after him. They are chasing him as if he was some kind of animal. He has no other choice but to cross their headquarters.

He is inside now. He went on an unfrequented patrol path, as high as possible, hoping to stay hidden. However, a guard is passing by. He has to fight. He is young and frail, but not stupid. It is easy for him to avoid the slow swings of the guard. Then, he steals a small dagger the guard had attached on his belt. He cuts open the belly of his opponent and flees.

His small size allows him to go to places that are inaccessible to guards. He loses them and disappears in no time.

---

Even if his instinct was urging him not to come back, his heart had won the fight. He went back on the remnants of what was his house some time ago. Some guards saw him.

The Church had found him.

He fled once again, leaving no trail behind him.

---

This time, he is not the prey. He grew up and promised himself to annihilate this cursed place, and to kill the monsters who stole his future – even if it meant becoming like them.

He had found back the paths he took the two previous times and hid under the floor where he killed his first man, on an old, forgotten piece of floor that was just covering a few square meters.

He just had to take his bow and to begin the massacre.

When there are only a few left, some of the survivors are on him. He has no difficulty to cut their throat open. They are too slow for him. Some of the bodies fall on the ground, splashing liters of blood on it.

He has his revenge
